hit the penjamin a lil too hard before class and actually jumped when my professor popped up on screen like halfway through, so i’m probably the only person who could qualify any part of this as meta and i probably won’t, despite being acutely aware of how badly it wants me to.
erm i think this movie is good actually. i think the attempt to find a common ground where there truly might be none is pretty noble. idk im a sucker for art as an endeavor in the search for truth! sue me! you get two sides to this story and somewhere around the middle is what actually happened, and that middle actually happens to be,, the audience and what they choose to make of it? is there a truth that isn’t what people external to this situation will denominate as truth? or will the audience decide what true is until the artists voices can’t even be heard anymore? i don’t know!! i might still be high but i think that works in favor of this movie actually, esp considering how they both mentioned being drunk for the majority of the recording,, and throughout most of the events,, they might have an alcohol problem actually.
but yeah obviously that guy sucks. but like, in the same way any guy who knows what dimes square is sucks. stay safe out there!
